Family Intensives

Restoring Order. Strengthening Relationships. Rebuilding Stability.

The Family Intensive is a concentrated therapy experience designed to address relational conflict, behavioral concerns, and instability within the family system. Rather than meeting weekly over several months, families engage in multiple consecutive days of structured therapeutic work.

This immersive format allows families to step away from daily distractions and focus intentionally on improving communication, clarifying roles, and restoring stability within the home.

Our Clinical Approach

Our Family Intensive is grounded in Family Systems Therapy, which views challenges not as isolated to one individual, but as patterns within the family structure.

We focus on:

  • Identifying unhealthy interaction patterns

  • Clarifying family roles and responsibilities

  • Strengthening parental leadership

  • Establishing healthy boundaries

  • Improving communication across members

  • Addressing behavioral and emotional concerns within the system

  • Family work requires both individual and group engagement. For this reason, the intensive format includes structured one-on-one sessions as well as guided sessions with various family combinations.

Intensive Format Options

Family intensives are offered in extended formats due to the complexity of systemic work. Because the process includes individual sessions with each family member along with structured group sessions, adequate time is necessary to allow meaningful progress.

3-Day Intensive

Targeted System Stabilization

Appropriate for smaller families or families addressing specific concerns. This format includes individual sessions with key members, parent-only sessions, and full-family sessions. The focus is on identifying patterns, clarifying expectations, and implementing structured changes.

5-Day Intensive

Comprehensive Family Restoration

Designed for larger families or families navigating complex or long-standing challenges. This extended format allows time for individual sessions with each member of the family, multiple parent sessions, and guided work across different family combinations. The additional time supports deeper assessment, relational repair, and the development of a clear long-term stability plan.

Commitment & Expectations

Family Using Tablet
  • We do not charge an upfront fee for our Family Intensive services. Instead, we operate on a donation-based model and invite families to contribute according to their means. Our goal is to ensure that financial concerns never prevent families from receiving the help they need. Donations allow us to continue serving other families in our community.

  • Families are strongly encouraged to stay at our retreat center during the intensive, as the focused environment supports deeper engagement and minimizes outside distractions. Families are responsible for covering the cost of accommodation and meals during their stay.

  • To ensure commitment and preparation, a nonrefundable deposit is required at the time of booking. This deposit supports the maintenance of the retreat space and the therapy materials used during your sessions.

  • We ask families to approach the process prepared, respectful, and committed to active participation.

Why an Intensive Model?

Family patterns are often deeply established and reinforced over time. Weekly therapy can take months to create meaningful shifts.

The intensive model allows families to:

  • Interrupt negative patterns quickly

  • Practice new communication strategies in real time

  • Establish immediate structure and clarity

  • Build momentum toward measurable change

The immersive format promotes accountability, clarity, and stability.
