COUNSELING
At Circle of Trust Inc., our Counseling Program is grounded in the Christian understanding that true healing involves the whole person — body, mind, and spirit. Our counseling services provide a safe and confidential space where clinical experience combined with, sound psychological principles, and Christian anthropology are applied to promote healing to individuals and couples. We offer Couples Counseling, Individual Therapy, Pre-Marital Counseling, and Family Therapy.

Couples counseling provides a structured and evidence-based approach to improving relationship health. Using principles from the Gottman Method, we help couples strengthen communication, manage conflict effectively, build trust, and increase emotional connection. Through practical tools and guided interventions, couples learn how to reduce negative interaction patterns and build healthier, more stable relationships. Whether you are experiencing ongoing conflict or simply want to strengthen your partnership, we provide clear strategies to support lasting change.
All of our couples therapy sessions are conducted in an intensive format, ranging from one and a half days to three days, allowing couples to engage in focused, uninterrupted work that promotes deeper progress in a shorter period of time.

Individual therapy provides a confidential and structured space to address anxiety, depression, stress, trauma, life transitions, and other personal challenges. We use a blend of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Narrative Therapy to help clients identify unhelpful thought patterns, reshape personal narratives, and develop healthier coping strategies. Treatment is collaborative and goal-oriented, focusing on emotional regulation, behavioral change, and meaningful personal growth. Our aim is to support lasting psychological resilience and improved daily functioning

Pre-marital counseling provides structured and research-based preparation for couples who are preparing to take the next step toward marriage in their relationship. Using the Prepare/Enrich assessment program, we help couples identify strengths, uncover growth areas, and develop practical skills in communication, conflict management, financial planning, and expectation alignment. As certified Prepare/Enrich facilitators, we provide customized feedback sessions based on each couple’s assessment results, ensuring that discussions are tailored to their unique relationship dynamics. Sessions are goal-oriented and designed to equip couples with the tools needed to build a stable, healthy, and long-lasting marriage.

Family therapy provides a structured and collaborative approach to enhancing communication, managing conflicts, and improving overall family functioning. Using principles of Family Systems Therapy, we help families understand relational patterns, clarify roles, establish healthy boundaries, and address behavioral or emotional concerns within the family unit. Sessions focus on improving interaction dynamics and promoting stability within the family unit. Our goal is to support healthier relationships and more effective family functioning over time.
